During a bus tour from Denali Visitor Center to Kantishna Roadhouse in the Summer of ´06 we stopped for two brown spots in the green gras of the slopes on Polychrome Pass. After waiting for some minutes the male bear woke up and looked what was going on around him. After getting up he and the female feeded together on the lush vegetation.
